The 2024 Amateur Karaoke Competition is open to Howick Club Members, Affiliated Members and invited guests of both over the age of 18. 1. TALENT QUEST IS AMATEUR only. (No Professional singers - If you have been paid to sing in a band or solo or have won a Karaoke talent quest in the past 2 years, you are not eligible to enter) 2. TWO SONGS PER ENTRY 3. ALL SONGS MUST BE SELECTED FROM OUR song list ONLY . 4. JUDGES DECISION ON EACH NIGHT IS FINAL. 5. Open to members, affiliated members and their guests over the age of 18 years 6. 3 Qualifiers from each heat will go through to the semi-final 7. At the semi final the 12 contestants will be competing for the 10 grand finals spots.. 8. On the grand final night, the judges will be choosing the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place getters. 9. The cash prizes will be split between first, second and third. With $700 going to the winner $200 going to second place and $100 going to the third place. 10. Rules subject to change without notice.
